I received this question from a customer not too long ago. The old famous question “what color and size should my truck decals be?”

Truck decals should be a minimum of 2” in height, have a contrasting background and be legible from a minimum of 50 feet away. Let’s say you want to add light blue regulation decals to a white truck, would it be okay? NOPE! Regulation decals must be in contrasting colors.

I always recommend a minimum of 2.5” in contrasting colors. If your truck is white I would recommend dark green, blue and black.  If your truck is a dark color, I would use white decals. Try to avoid scripted, cursive, or handwritten fonts, since it will be difficult to read and could cause potential problems.
